Japan Rail Pass

Japan Rail Pass, JR West Rail Pass , JR Kyushu Rail Pass and JR Hokkaido Rail Pass are providing visitors to Japan unlimited access to the Japanese railways' network. Passes can be purchased before arriving in Japan. Passenger only need to purchase a voucher (MCO), which then can be exchanged for the actual pass at railway stations in Japan upon arrival.

All payment should be settled in Hong Kong dollars (cash only) in accordance with the bank selling rate on the date air ticket and hotel voucher issued.
Eligibility

Non-Japanese citizen: Must be visiting Japan from abroad under the "Temporary visitor" status (15 or 90 days stay). The stamp "Temporary visitor" in the passport (stamped when entering Japan) is required at the time the pass is being issued.

Japanese citizens living abroad, must:
1.
Be qualified to live permanently in a foreign country, OR
2.
Have been living abroad for ten years or more, OR
3.
Be married to a non-Japanese citizen residing abroad.

Must be a non-Japanese citizen visiting Japan from abroad under the "Temporary visitor" status (15 or 90 days stay). The stamp "Temporary visitor" in the passport (stamped when entering Japan) is required at the time the pass is being issued.

Japanese citizens living abroad are not eligible.

Some form of evidence proving above is required at the time of purchase and travel.

15-day stay passengers may purchase the pass from JR West in Japan, once per passenger.
